Entry open to all residents of Western Illinois between Galesburg and Beardstown, Peoria and Quincy, aged 18 and older.

Submissions are limited to 1 entry per author. Stories must be set in the pre-determinned location (images below) for their entirety, contain a maximum of 3 roles, limited to a 15 minute run time (roughly 1 minute per page), and be possible to create on a ZERO budget. Films must not contain elements of destruction or property damage to the location (ie; blood effects, fire, vandalism, etc) nor shall they require the relocation or interaction with the location’s sculptures, art works, or furnishings. Films must aim to stay below an R Rated style, this means limiting use of profanity, sexual themes, and onscreen violence or drug use. Screenplays must be formatted as close to standard WGA accepted layout as possible in order to be considered (educational link below). Additionally authors MUST read and sign the attached release forms to be considered or will be rejected outright. Printed copies of this waiver will be available at drop off locations.

SCREENPLAYS WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE WITHOUT THE WAIVER SIGNED BY THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR. MUST BE 18 OR OLDER. INCLUDE CONTACT INFORMATION IN CASE OF SELECTION.

Please submit 5 copies of your screenplay (one per judge), each bound by 3 hole punch left side brads, enclosed in a single large manila envelope, to one of the physical drop points around the city of Macomb.
